Amazon overhauls Kindle lineup in Canada with colour Colorsoft models from $379.99
Canadian pre-orders cover redesigned flush-front Kindles, Paperwhites and the first colour E Ink Colorsoft family, plus new page-turn accessories.

Amazon has refreshed its entire Kindle family with thinner, flush-front designs and, for the first time in the mainstream lineup, colour E Ink displays under the Colorsoft name. Canadian tech site Geeking Out reports pre-orders are live in Canada across base, Paperwhite and Colorsoft tiers, with wrap-around finishes such as Ube, Alpine Sky, Seaglass Green and Fig joining graphite blacks.
On the black-and-white side, the pocketable 6-inch Kindle starts at $179.99 CAD with claims of up to six weeks of battery and faster book opening; an Aluminum 32 GB variant is listed at $259.99 and a Kids bundle at $249.99. Paperwhite models remain the waterproof, warm-light workhorses at $299.99 and $349.99 for the Signature Edition with auto-adjusting light and dock charging. Colorsoft — aimed at graphic novels, comics and illustrated books — starts at $379.99 for 16 GB, with Signature Edition at $429.99 and Colorsoft Kids at $399.99, according to the same Canadian roundup. Accessories include a Kindle Click Bluetooth page remote ($47.99) and a Page-Turn Cover with physical buttons ($109.99).
Amazon’s Kindle Colorsoft product listing on Amazon.ca anchors the colour tier for shoppers comparing storage and Signature extras. The redesign drops raised plastic bezels for edge-to-edge glass fronts across the family — a clear upgrade path for readers still on older bezel-heavy units, especially if colour covers and comics matter more than sticking with monochrome E Ink.
